If you are not getting an audio now, it is because it is now between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. in Pangasinan. Aksyon Radyo signs off at 11 p.m. and signs on at 5 a.m. We have yet to perfect our system of filling this lull with a taped program, if you are not still hearing it now. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you.
Over the last few days, our webcast has been very erratic. Our signal has been on and off, and last Sunday, we simply vanished in thin air.
We sincerely apologize for this. This happened because we have had serious technical problems in our studio.
This morning, we hope to have resolved these problems. Since 9:00 a.m. today, our webcast has not been disrupted and we hope to continue to propagate crisp and clear signal in the Internet to reach you.
We thank you for your comments. We also thank you for bearing with us. In the next few days, we will be posting announcements in this weblog on significant news coverage and public affairs program segments that we are going to launch.
Thank you very much.
Starting today, Aksyon Radyo Pangasinan will go on a 24-hour webcast. This means that there will no longer be dead airs from the time our station signs off at 11:00 p.m. (Pangasinan time) until it signs on again at 4:00 a.m. (Pangasinan time again) the following morning. But what you will be hearing in that six-hour window (11 p.m. to 4 a.m.) are replays of the programs’ edition aired earlier on that day.
We are still in the process of producing our sign on and sign off spiels, which we will play everytime we end and begin our broadcast operations for the day. This is to enable you to easily distinguish a live webcast from a taped one.
We apologize for the technical difficulties this morning. There was a short brownout in our studio location in Dagupan City and our office computers just went awry. With Bitstop Network Services’ help, we have been able to restore sanity in our webcast in no time. Thank you for bearing with us. Thank you, Bitstop.
We just want to reiterate that tomorrow, July 4, 2006, we won’t have webcasts from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. because of a power outage in Pangasinan. We regret the inconvenience.
Aksyon Radyo Pangasinan will be off-the-air on Tuesday, July 4, 2006, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. because of power interruption in the franchise area of the Dagupan Electric Corporation. The National Transmission Corporation (Transco) in a notice said it has to turn off the power to give way to the commissioning of Labrador S/S 100 MVA T3 feeder breakers, among other reasons. We will go back on air as soon as the power returns. Thank you.
