The Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) Pangasinan Chapter has recently elected its new set of officers:
To serve for a term of one year as KBP officers are: Gabriel Cardinoza (Aksyon Radyo Pangasinan), chairman; Marvin Modelo (Bombo Radyo), vice chairman; Gemma Cacas (ABS-CBN), secretary; Noel Sibayan (Love Radio), treasurer; Jun Pardo (I-FM), auditor; and Bernie Errasquin (Radyo ng Bayan-Dagupan), standards performance officer.
Cardinoza succeeded outgoing chairman Earl Santos (Energy-FM), who begged off to be reelected.
Santos, who took the reins of the KBP last June, was responsible for the active participation of KBP member stations in the province to the recently concluded KBP Golden Dove Awards. He also saw to it that broadcasters in the province are KBP-accredited by encouraging them to take the accreditation exams last July.
Other members present during the election were: Sheryll Palaganas (MOR/ABS-CBN); Romeo Umipig (Radyo ng Bayan-Tayug); Dolly Ijares (I-FM), (Maricel Bigleto (I-FM); Rusty Roca (Star FM); Reynald Alwin Abaya (DWPR); and Mags Mallow and John Donut (HOT FM).
