DAGUPAN CITY – Caressing, kissing, necking and petting between entertainers and their customers will soon be prohibited in the city’s night spots.
Under the Anti-Flesh Trade ordinance being proposed by Councilor Farah Marie Decano, violators – both entertainers and customers — may be imprisoned from six months to one year.
“I think you will agree with me that selling one’s self just to make money is wrong. The more that it’s wrong if an establishment sells a person to make money,” Decano, chair of the city council’s committee on women, children and family affairs, said.
A person, employer of business establishment harboring persons in order to engage in flesh trade within its premises shall merit the punishment of one imprisonment, according to Decano.
